The extra large Floor Vase is a real show stopper and truly a statement piece from the significant HORIZON series. The large scale vase in cast stoneware is glazed with two overlapping glazes, in this case the lightly crystalline SNOW and the silky matte DARK PLUM, which create many different nuances of violet and blue in the overlapping area. The big surface really gives the glazes room to develop.
These vases are challenging to make, and therefore they are all unique pieces.
The size is suitable as a floor vase for branches or very long stemmed flowers, or as a center piece on a large table or the like.
