The Bloom Collection consists of robust hand formed plates in different stoneware clays, that give the items a rough and tactile touch.
The Bloom Plate in the White colour is made of a warm, cream coloured stoneware clay containing a lot of grog, that can be both felt and seen through the matte white glaze. The clay also gives the plate a distinct mottled look, that compliments the refined flower shape. The bottom of the plate is sanded down, to give it a soft feel against the table top.
Because of the hand held production method, small variations and asymmetries in the shape can occur.
